Deposita Systems had its origins in the belief that the Deposita ABM® would revolutionise
the way cash is secured, collected and processed, both nationally and internationally.
Since its inception in March 2005, Deposita followed a carefully charted course
based on the core philosophy of building a well defined business, focused on serving
the needs of select market niches. Deposita's rapid expansion is, and will continue
to be firmly rooted in the recognition of a clearly defined strategy for the company.
During 2002/3, Deposita conducted comprehensive market research into the handling
and settlement of cash in the South African economy. This research was extended
to other European and Middle East economies in order to ascertain world’s best practices.
This led to the development of the first prototype cash acceptance device.
In 2005 production commenced on the ABM® version 3.0 and the software for this was
completed in June 2005.
Our client base includes major retail chains, fast food outlets, banks, all major
fuel retailers, restaurants and stores throughout South Africa.
Today, through close co-operation with our strategic partners, we ensure that our
clients and other stakeholders benefit to the maximum from the expertise of a well
defined and established company.
